You finally received your flat panel TV. You and your family are excited over it and you want to set it up immediately so you could start watching football. You got an HDTV, so you are even more excited. You know you’d practically see the texture of those football players’ jersey with your TV.
So do you know how to wall mount a flat panel TV?
A flat panel TV that is not properly mounted is a waste of good money. You will not be able to optimize your viewing pleasure if you did not mount your TV properly. Your goal should be to optimize viewing and to spruce up your room with your TV.
So, what should you take into consideration when you are mounting your flat panel TV at home?
First of all, you have to take into consideration the size of your TV. If you got a Plasma TV or an LCD, you probably have a huge television! Make sure that your wall can support it. Make sure that you have properly placed it on your wall. So, you have to take into consideration that type of wall you’d be placing your TV on. You could choose a wood studding or a solid concrete wall for your TV.
You should also consider the type of wall mount you’d be using. There are actually four kinds of wall mounts that you could choose from:
a.Fixed wall mount which permanently places your TV on the wall. You can’t move the TV without breaking it
b.Arm mount which is commonly used for small flat panel TV.
c.Tilting mount which allows for flexibility so you could tilt the TV later on if you need to.
d.Motorized mount which allows you to rotate the TV.
